Class Instructors

Candace Liccione, Tiffany Windsor and Heidi Borchers are the daughters of Aleene Jackson, a pioneer of the arts and crafts industry and inventor of the famous Aleene's Tacky Glue. As you can imagine, these sisters have grown up in a creatively-rich environment. Together, Candace, Tiffany and Heidi are known as "The Creativity Sisters".  

Candace Liccione, herbalist and creative woman has been teaching herbalism for over 18 years. In 1995, after studying medicinal herbalism with herbalist, Rosemary Gladstar, Candace relocated to Royersford, Pennsylvania and transplanted and transformed six-acres of her property into an herbal and garden sanctuary. In 2004, Candace opened Wye River Designs Studio, a teaching studio where women can gather together to create and share through crafting. Located in Grasonville, Maryland this unique studio features creative, contemporary design classes, hand-made gifts and gallery items and crafting supplies including jewelry making and mosaics. In 2007 Candace expanded her retail store to include aromatherapy, essential oils, Bach Flower Remedies, herbs and loose teas.

Candace is the creator and founder of Healing Life Wisdom, she teaches herbal and wellness classes and is a featured speaker at many herb, garden, women’s clubs and senior centers.  Candace's website is www.wyeriverdesigns.com

Tiffany Windsor, Creativity Coach is best known in the arts and crafts industry as producer and host of Aleene’s Creative Living Television show and the author of over 10 hard-cover and soft-cover craft titles.  Tiffany has made appearances on both the Home Shopping Network and QVC, Lifetime and HGTV demonstrating craft products. She has extensive experience in designing and teaching in the craft industry and is passionate about her creativity coaching. In 2008, Tiffany moved from California to join her sister Candace at Wye River Designs Studio where she teaches creativity classes.  As an artist, she expresses her creative endeavors in many different craft mediums. Tiffany is the host of Inspired at Home Radio.

Heidi Borchers, Eco Artist has been an accomplished artist as well as an inventive designer since her teens. In the mid-1990s, Heidi launched the largest selling craft book ever published—the first in a succession of “continuity” books called Aleene’s Big Book of Crafts. Many of her more than two dozen hard-bound books have been featured in Book of the Month Clubs across the country. She launched her national cable television career with featured segments on Aleene’s Creative Living” and remained a staple TV crafting personality for 15 years. In a career that is now into its fourth decade, Heidi’s designs have been featured in McCalls, Better Homes & Gardens, Creative Living, Craft, Home & Style, Decorating Craft Ideas, and Crafts N’ Things. Heidi’s studio classroom is located in Los Osos, California and she makes regular visits to teach at the Wye River Designs Studio in Grasonville, Maryland. As an eco artist, Heidi's passion is to recycle items you would normally toss away. Her current designs and information can be found on her website at www.heidiborchers.com.
