Product Review - Stevia!

The stevia herb in its natural form is approximately 10 to 15 times sweeter than common table sugar. Extracts of stevia in the form of Steviosides can range anywhere from 100 to 300 times sweeter than table sugar. The Guarani Indians of Paraguay have know for centuries about the unique advantages of the "sweet herb"  which they commonly used to enhance the taste of bitter maté (a tea-like beverage) or simply chewed the leaves of this shrub for its sweet taste. Historians noted that indigenous peoples had been sweetening herbal teas with stevia leaves "since ancient times". By the 1800's, daily stevia consumption had become well entrenched throughout not just Paraguay but also in neighboring Brazil and Argentina.  Prior to 1900, the stevia shrub had only grown in the wild, with consumption limited to those having access to its natural habitat. In 1908, a ton of dried leaves was harvested for the very first stevia crop.  Stevia is available in powder and liquid form. Stevia is an exceptional aid in weight management as it contains no calories and reduces one's craving for fatty foods & sweets. The body does not metabolize the sweet glycosides from the stevia leaf or any of its processed forms - so there is no caloric intake. Stevia doesn't adversely affect blood glucose levels and may be used freely by diabetics.

We cannot urge you enough to give up any artificial sweeteners that you may be using.  Artificial sweeteners are really bad for you! Make the switch to natural sweetener.
