My project pick this week is
from www.duhbe.com. Look
at this
polyester flower that looks like organza! A long time
ago, we used to take silk flowers and quickly put the heat
gun to the petals. The heat gun curled the petals and gave a
great look to the silk flowers. This tutorial reminds me of
this technique!>>Heidi |
My
project pick this week comes from
www.inspiredathome.com.
(Hey! That's us!) I love this vintage technique of
Aleene's Forged Foil
by Heidi Borchers. We recently had
a Laugh and Craft make 'n take at the studio featuring this
technique and everyone LOVED it. It is fun and easy and
great for all ages! >>Candace

Lorine
Mason ventured into the world of crafts at a very
young age like so many of us. She started Lorine Mason
Designs in 2001 after years of working her way through a
number of retail management and educational positions. She
is the author of three books with her fourth through sixth on
the horizon in late 2009 and early 2010. While identifying
herself as a multi-media artist her sewing machine seems to
be her main focus lately. In this week's show, Lorine will
be talking about the gold mine of fabric, buttons and
accessories in your thrift store just waiting to be
purchased by a creative person such as yourself.
