My project pick of the week from FaveCrafts is Modern Wall Art by Styrofoam Brand Products. Using Styrofoam for wall art, these beautiful pieces look just like canvas art. The color of black and white is very stunning! >>Heidi

I just love this Bee Garden Stake created by Jana Ewy for Amoco. This project uses Amaco ArtEmboss and Wire Mesh. This is a fun project that will perk up your garden or potted plant. >>Candace

My project pick of the week is Rolled Beeswax Candles! This brings back such wonderful childhood memories for me. The sweet honey smell of the beeswax is so wonderfully natural without the addition of any artificial fragrance. Hand-rolled beeswax candles are virtually smokeless and they are dripless. Aprons are certainly the rage right now! You can find them in the classiest to the coziest of kitchens! I love this apron decorating idea from Sizzix created by Deena Ziegler - using the Sizzix Originals Die - Die-cut Bird w/Branch, Deena has created cute felt decorations that are easy to iron on this cute apron! This cute Small Glass Covered Server designed by Carla Spivey for Plaid is a smaller version of a clear glass cake server. Carla has used Plaid's Fold Art Enamels to create this darling piece. It's yummy looking and is amazing art for your table! >>Heidi

Here's another great nature project from www.ilovetocraft.com - Flower Pot Wind Chimes! This is a fun-for-all-ages project that uses clay pots, wooden beads and plastic salad container covers (from the salad bar at the supermarket). Any project that has a recycling element makes me happy! This is a great project for the kids to do when they are bored this summer! >>Candace

My favorite project of the week comes from www.craftstylish.com. It's a Recycled Wool Sweater & Tin Can Herb Garden by Timary Peterson. This is a recycling project all-around! First you take a wool sweater and felt it. Next you cut lengths off the sleeves to make cute little slip covers for tin cans. And then you plant them with your favorite herbs. >>Tiff

Have you heard about the CHA Craft SuperShow? This is a new consumer show which will be held in Orlando, Florida on Friday and Saturday July 31st and August 1st. This Craft SuperShow will be a place where people can visit with and learn from craft manufacturers, buy products from craft retailers and purchase finished projects from designers and professional crafters. Aleene's Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid is a great product to use to stiffen crochet doilies, fabric, lace, ribbons, cheesecloth, appliques and fabric. It's both thinnable and tintable. When dry, it's water-resistant and easy to paint. Home remedies are amazing! This week I want to talk to you about Vinegar. You are probably already using vinegar in your cooking but let's look at vinegar for your health. Vinegar has been used for thousands of years for ear diseases, fat accumulation in the body, for digestion and for preventing scurvy. Lots of research has been done in modern times to see what vinegar does for your body. Do you usually buy white vinegar from the supermarket? That's probably good for cleaning but for home remedies, you really need "apple cider vinegar" which you will find at the health food store. This type of vinegar contains what is known as the "mother". My final few pick this week is www.dailycandy.com. This site has lots of products that they preview -- from clothing to sweets to jewelry. You can also pick the major city you are close to for specials in your area. There are great ideas for what to do/see on the weekends an Daily deals to special web sites. >>Heidi

Body+Soul Magazine

This week I am going to give a thumbs up for another favorite magazine of mine that isn't a craft magazine. It is Body+Soul from Martha Stewart. This is a nice wellness and natural lifestyle magazine that assists you in living a more healthy and balanced life with ideas on food, money, fitness, life issues and more. I highly recommend this magazine! >>Candace

This week I want to tell you about www.polyvore.com. It's a free, easy-to-use web-based application for mixing and matching images from anywhere on the web. It's basically a fashion shopping site but you can create what this site calls a "set" where you click and drag and drop clothing, shoes, accessories, photos, text and music to create a virtual collage project. Then you share your "set" by posting it to the site or share it with your friends. It's like creating your own fashion collage add. This is so intriguing and highly addictive! >>Tiff

We love these 20 Things You Can Use Twice Before Tossing from www.tipnut.com! We usually use Styrofoam Food Trays for kids crafts projects, pantyhose to wear, paper towel rolls for napkin rings, plastic bread clips for jewelry, newspaper for collaging and brown bags for Aleene's Burnt Brown Bag technique but tipnut.com has compiled this really great list for how you can use household items at least twice before tossing [or crafting]! >>Tiff
