All of our Inspired at Home projects can be found at FaveCrafts.com. We love to rave about Fave! This is a site that is a center for all things crafting with thousands of free craft projects from craft manufacturers, designers and craft bloggers. Here is our project pick of the week: |
My
project pick this week from
FaveCrafts.com is
the
Mosaic Kaleidescope Lamp by DiamondTech. Starting
with the really neat glass KraftyBlok shape, you glue
mosaic tiles on to the side. You can then turn the Shape
into a lamp, a bank or a keepsake holder. What a great
mosaic project idea!

P.S. Featured at FaveCrafts this week is their 45-page eBook containing 16 editors pick quick and easy angel crafts including Heidi's popular clay pot garden angel, an angel windchime and kid-friendly snowman and angel ornaments. |

![]() I found these cute pulp paper beads on www.foldingtrees.com. With just a few pieces of basic equipment, you can turn your boring old junk mail into cute paper beads! These lightweight, bulky beads are great for making fun chunky jewelry, festive garlands, or a bead curtain to hang in your doorway (if you're feeling ambitious!) Love them! >>Heidi |
My
project pick this week is from
theblessednest.blogspot.com These
Beachy Bottles
are a great way to dress up vintage
bottles. By gluing seashells and starfish trimmed with twine
atop glass bottles, Stacey at The Blessed Nest has found a
way to simply and economically recreate bottles she found in
an expensive catalog. Ahhhh.....love the beach theme!

off. Witch hazel is used as a topical astringent, for
relieving minor bleeding, inflammation, for skin
irritations, hemorrhoids, mild diarrhea and gum health.
Witch hazel is best known as a remedy that is available in
the grocery store or drug store and is a distilled witch
hazel extract. You can also make a tea from dried witch
hazel. The plant’s fresh and partially dried leaves are used
to make witch hazel extract. The bark is also used for
lotions, liniments, tinctures, salves, decoctions and
homeopathic remedies. The nuts are edible but not used
medicinally. I keep my witch hazel in the refrigerator so it
is icy cold and feels so soothing on skin irritations,
insect bites, hives and sunburn. I also mix witch hazel into
a paste with red clay for a poison ivy remedy. The paste is
applied to the poison ivy site and it draws out the toxins.
I have used this for years and it really works. So add a
bottle of witch hazel to your fridge or buy some dried witch
hazel at your local herb shop so you have it next time you
need it. >>Candace

My pick this week is Tracy Porter. I love Tracy Porter
